It wasn't long ago I learnt, 'ides' actually meant the 15th day of March and a few other months in the Roman calendar. Well, if only the great dictator had heeded to those words.....Well what ? For one, Mark wouldn't have married Cleopatra...do you think alike ?

From Rome to Melbourne and 2 millenniums away, Lewis Hamilton starts on pole tonight in the inaugural round of 2008 F1....that's really sweet, much to the agony of iceman , who seems to have something or the other going against him in the initial rounds....but I am sure Ferrari has a superlative machine. The guy to watch for however is Kubica in the BMW....

Work wise, an eventful week went past, I will be out of Anheuser Busch project by 4APR2008...that's 5 days shy of completing 31 months in the SAP project here in St Louis !

Anheuser Busch is a great company to work for... For the local folks , there is nothing beyond AB ( and it's ale too ) . It's one of the most admired companies in the world and an industry leader in all aspects. I have loved every working minute that I spent at AB' IT department...great folks really...but I must admit , I am still surprised that their IT processes do not really match up to the Budweiser that they make...A few more strides ahead and they will be world beaters !! It's hugely 'American' in everything, but of late they have started sharing their distribution network with InBev the largest (?? ) brewer in the world....amidst talks of a potential merger ... boy, that would be diluting the spirit of AB !! By the way, did you know InBev owns the beer Brahma and the namesake Internet domain too ? Ain't that kooool ? Wonder if the VHP morons ever took umbrage at the "tricephalic hindu creator" bottled in his new avatar as a modern day beer ! Brahma has come a long way my friends ... Do however check Brahma's website out !!
